Omar Malone joined FREIDIN . DOBRINSKY in 2004 and specializes in personal injury, auto accidents, consumer fraud, premises liability and wrongful death litigation. He is dedicated to helping individuals and their families who have been wrongfully injured due to the negligence of others. Lawdragon recognized him as a 2007 leading plaintiff's attorney in America.

After graduating from law school, Omar clerked for the Honorable Kenneth M. Hoyt, a United States District judge in the Southern District of Texas. In 1991, he moved to New York City where he worked in the Wall Street law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. There, Omar specialized in commercial litigation and products liability defense.

In 1995, Omar became an Assistant Federal Public Defender in Miami, and shortly thereafter, was promoted to Supervisory Federal Public Defender. He represented individual and corporate defendants in all phases of federal criminal litigation and tried more than 45 federal cases to verdict. Omar is believed to have had the highest acquittal rate in the entire office.

In addition to the practice of law, Omar is extremely active in the community. He has also been the voice of WTPS Radio 1080's The Power of Attorney.
